The names are close, but they do two different jobs. MAGTITE™ is how accessories attach to your board or float. MAG Ties™ are how floats attach to each other.
What Is MAGTITE™?
MAGTITE™ is the magnetic puck built into our latest boards (iROCKER 8.0, BLACKFIN 7.0 and ULTRA™ 3.0) and our iLAND® floats. MAGTITE™ accessories like the MAG CUP, MAG POCKET and MAG SPEAKER X snap right onto it. MAGTITE™ features vary by model.
The puck is built in during manufacturing and is not sold separately.
What Are MAG Ties™?
MAG Ties™ are straps that connect one iLAND® float to another, so you can link floats, the CHAIR and the BAR into your own setup. They come with every iLAND® float, and extra sets are available as MAG Ties™ (4 pc).
Have Older Gear? Use an Adapter
- Cup Holder MAGTITE™ Adapter: turns a MAGTITE™ point into a traditional action mount, so your iROCKER cup holders work on the latest boards.
- Vibe Speaker Adapter: does the same for compatible Vibe speakers.
- Action Mount Adapter: works the other way, turning a traditional action mount into a MAGTITE™ point so magnetic accessories work on older boards.
These adapters are the only MAGTITE™ mounting parts we sell separately.

Good to Know
We have not tested third-party drinkware with MAGTITE™, so we recommend a MAGTITE™-compatible cup like the MAG CUP rather than attaching your own directly to the puck.
