BOOST FIN

Boost Fin is the world's first electrical fin that can provide 20 pounds of turbocharged energy. It's versatile and can be attached to various types of surfboards, including longboards, shortboards, and SUPs. This fin helps surfers catch more waves and paddle boarders SUP faster, making it particularly beneficial for those with physical limitations or injuries.

Equipped with a motor for extra thrust, the Boost Fin comes with a remote control. This remote can be attached to the board or worn on the wrist. It has buttons for both short and long boosts, aiding surfers and paddlers in gaining speed easily.

The Boost Fin can increase any board's speed to a maximum of 10 mph, significantly enhancing paddling speed.

Constructed with robust materials like ABS plastic and fiberglass-reinforced polymer, the Boost Fin is shock-resistant and suitable for use in both saltwater and freshwater.

It has been tested and reviewed by surfers paddling just 3 feet away that the Boost Fin operates quietly without any noise. When it comes to shark attraction, the Fin operates at 30MHz (30,000,000 Hz), well beyond the 10-800 Hz range that typically attracts sharks. As an extra safety measure, you can also use a Shark Band bracelet.

After turning on the device, the motor is controlled by a radio remote control with two buttons. The remote can go on your wrist, shoulder, or paddle if you're on a SUP. Button A turns on the Short Boost mode, button B turns on the Long Boost mode. All parameters of these modes can be configured through the Boost Fin mobile app. Pressing any of the buttons again turns off the motor.

The Boost Fin is equipped with a rechargeable Li-ion 3500 mAh battery that provides varying battery life for SUP, depending on the mode of operation. There are three continuous modes, each with different power levels and corresponding battery durations SUP Assistance mode: ~100 minutes. SUP Trolling mode: ~70 minutes. SUP Wind mode: ~40 minutes.

The propeller is safeguarded by a removable safety guard, ensuring that your fingers cannot come into contact with it. If something like seaweed becomes entangled in the propeller, there is no risk of damage. Typically, you can clear any obstructions by hand without the need to remove the prop nut. However, if a solid object becomes wedged and obstructs the propeller's rotation, the motor will automatically detect it and stop to prevent any internal damage.

The Boost Fin meets IPX8 standards, allowing it to endure depths of up to 10 meters. It's specifically designed for saltwater use, with all its parts and components resistant to salt fog. Rubber plugs protect the electrical contacts, and the charger port is designed to prevent damage from seawater. It features a diode that permits current to flow in one direction only.
