The recommended PSI for the iLAND™ by iROCKER Round Float is between 7-8 PSI. The recommended PSI for the iLAND™ by iROCKER Square Dock is between 14-18 PSI. The recommended PSI for the iLAND™ LIG x iR Round Dock is between 12-16 PSI.
The recommended weight capacity for the iLAND™ by iROCKER Round Float is 661 lbs. The recommended weight capacity for the iLAND™ by iROCKER Square Dock is 529 lbs. The recommended weight capacity for the iLAND™ LIG x iR Round Dock is 600 lbs.
After each use, especially in salt water, rinse your iLAND thoroughly, including the PVC, handles, and deck. Please note the carry handles are less durable than PVC and water—especially salt water—can damage them over time. Apply a little bit of soap to help remove any dirt or residue, and then rinse again to ensure it is clean. Dry the iLAND and all handles before folding and storing to avoid molding issues.
Remove any accessories you have attached and make sure your iLAND is clean and completely dry. Once your iLAND is completely dry, roll it up and store in a temperature-controlled environment. Avoid extreme heat and humidity, as they can promote mold growth and potentially compromise the PVC’s glue.
When not in use, we recommend deflating your iLAND by 1-2 PSI. This helps to prevent overinflation caused by heat or direct sunlight, which can compromise the iLAND’s seams. Deflating the iLAND slightly helps it handle temperature fluctuations more effectively. If you are not going to be using the iLAND for several hours, we recommend fully deflating it for added security. Inflation and deflation are both quick and easy with the use of an electric pump.
Yes, it is the same valve. Both the iROCKER hand pump and e-pump can be used to inflate the iLAND, though we recommend the e-pump for convenience.
Our inflatable products are made from top-quality materials to provide lasting durability. However, these products are not indestructible, and caution should always be taken to preserve the lifespan of your float or dock. Avoid situations in which your product could be punctured by sharp objects such as nails or screws on a dock, rocky riverbeds, oyster beds, or areas with sharp tree roots. Do not tie your inflatable dock using the dock's D-rings. We recommend using an iROCKER anchor instead. Do not tie your inflatable product to a dock without the use of a buoy or bumper to protect it. These products are not for use as towables behind a moving boat.
Aside from size, a few things differentiate these two floats. The 8’ float has a higher weight capacity and more space, allowing for more people to use the float at one time. You can fit about 3 adults on the 8’ float, while the 6’ is more for personal use by one adult or two children. The 6’ float features a wider side rail, perfect for sitting on or setting down drinks and food. Young kids will also enjoy jumping off the side rail into the water. The 6’ float is lighter than the 8’ float by about 5 lbs., allowing for easier transport. Both floats feature a removable inner mesh panel, both are pet-friendly, and both are sure to enhance the time you spend on the water with family and friends.
